My 91 NA of five years lost injector #2 (balance test, bad ohmage, old).
-Pulled upper plenum, did water bypass, EGR nix and replaced all injectors with modern injectors/connectors and new fuel filter. Car ran the best it ever has on a 10 mile pizza run.
-Next day, cylinders 2 & 4 start missing. Code 34. Compression checked above 150 on suspect and other cylinders. Changed PTU, changed plugs, swapped coils..same result.
-Purchased used, modern rail and injectors AND a 1995 ECCS harness and installed all (all were in good shape, ohmage, connectors, etc). Reworked the CAS, A/C, etc. connectors Depinned method for harness install. Difficult but completed just fine.-Cranked it today and got the SAME...all over again...Cyl 2 & 4 still missing. MAN! Laid off and broke is the easy part. This continuing misfire after many, many hours of TTnet research and work is taking me close to the edge of sanity. I've emailed Bernie way too many times. I appreciate his parts and help. Can you please give a guy so more ideas? Thank you all.
